ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION

Key to Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider's spine-tingling performance is its ultra-lightweight construction and high downforce aerodynamics package. But it had to look good too. The upper body surfaces of the teardrop-shaped cockpit and lower tub contours follow the envelope of space between the huge full-length Venturi tunnels that run either side of the cockpit floor. They draw vast quantities of air beneath the car to feed the rear diffuser, generating colossal levels of downforce. While that's crucial to Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider's prodigious performance, the tunnels also keep the upper body surfaces free from additional aerodynamic devices that would spoil the purity of the legendary open top styling. Looks, after all, are everything.

PRECISE RE-CALIBRATION

While the Aston Martin Valkyrie's unique 1155PS Hybrid V12 powertrain stays the same, the Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider has been the lucky recipient of a few key revisions to its carbon fibre structure, as well as precise re-calibration of both the active aerodynamic and active chassis systems. All designed to keep the legendary Aston Martin Valkyrie performance up when the roof is down.

It's no secret that the cabin has been inspired by F1®, which only adds to the pulse-racing sensation of driving the fastest and most extreme open-top Aston Martin ever built. The cabin has low hip-to-heel height and near-central seat positioning, along with a 6-point safety harness to hold the occupants safely in the car. Displays sit just above the instrument panel and a centre rear-view camera system as well as front and rear parking sensors help the driver at both high and low speeds.
