Engineering and performance
Valen’s 850PS 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, recalibrated for immediacy of response with faster and more engaging shifts in all drive modes. Joined by the thunderous sound of 12 cylinders, creating an extreme soundtrack and a thunderous promise of performance. This is the most dynamically capable V12 front-engined Aston Martin ever made.
ENGINE
The most powerful V12 front-engined supercar in Aston Martin history. The 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged engine at the heart of Valen produces 850PS and 1,000Nm of torque, purpose-built for immediacy and response. Engineered to deliver a pure sensation of road driving.
SOUND
Valen features a colossal V12 soundtrack delivered through a new lightweight quad tailpipe titanium exhaust arrangement reducing system weight by 14.8kg. Not just a statement of intent but a constant reminder that 850PS is waiting to be unleashed.
STEERING RESPONSE
Made to feel alive in your hands. The retuned steering software gives greater precision, increased on-centre response and an improved sense of connection. Even in the tightest corners, you'll find steering that responds to your input with immediacy and precision. The electronic rear limited-slip differential reacts in just 135 milliseconds, managing torque distribution across the rear axle, enhancing agility and steering response.
STABILITY AND TYRE TECHNOLOGY
Valen’s Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) software delivers greater precision in response to driver inputs in all conditions. Pirelli Cyber™ Tyre technology shares live data to Valen's dynamic systems. This optimises brake balance, improves stopping distances and offers better traction when exiting a corner.
8-SPEED ZF TRANSMISSION
Faster shift speeds help deliver race-level engagement to this road-focused supercar. Building on the software honed in the Vantage GT4 race car, a bespoke-calibrated, 8-speed ZF automatic transmission directs power to the rear wheels with a shift feel that reinforces its fierce character.
DRIVE MODES AND THROTTLE RESPONSE
Valen's drive modes reshape the entire powertrain character — pedal mapping, shift pressure, torque intervention and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) calibration all evolve as intensity increases. In Sport, a shorter, more assertive pedal map matches Valen's inherent aggression, while exhaust valves open progressively with load and speed. Sport+ maintains that shorter pedal map and unleashes the exhaust character further with the lower exhaust valves partially open from idle, fully open by 3,500rpm. Track extends the pedal travel into a longer, more progressive map, easier to modulate at the limit on fast roads or circuit. Every input measured. Every response earned.
LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION
To give Valen the desired handling and acceleration characteristics, weight has been reduced throughout. The full carbon fibre body panels reduce body structure weight by 25kg. A lightweight titanium exhaust system removes 14.8kg. Magnesium wheels provide a reduction in unsprung mass of 6.0kg. Further weight saving can be gained through the optional suspension arms machined from solid aluminium and titanium chassis bolts. The result: up to 110kg lighter than our standard V12 platform.
CHASSIS, SUSPENSION AND BRAKING
A solid-mounted rear subframe sharpens response and connection. New suspension springs and bespoke damper hardware and software calibration work alongside Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB) and a recalibrated brake booster giving confidence-inspiring feel under the most demanding conditions.
BRAKES
Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCB) are paired with recalibrated brake booster hardware for a firmer, more linear pedal feel. The system is tuned to match the heightened intensity of the chassis. Progressive, confidence-building and consistent at high temperatures.
Exterior
Valen is defined by design cues you rarely see in Aston Martin front-mid engine models. From the full carbon fibre body exterior to the intense lightweighting and statement rear diffuser. The iconic S-curve, long a hallmark of Aston Martin's design language, moves underneath the sharp line of the bonnet’s edge, a deliberate evolution into new territory.
REAR
The rear of Valen is where restraint ends. A dominant rear diffuser. 3D-printed quad titanium exhausts stacked in a 2-up, 2-down arrangement unlike anything else seen on a front-engined Aston Martin. A bespoke full-width light bar sits beneath the large upswept tail, a form that generates downforce with minimal drag and negates the need for a conventional rear wing, strengthening both proportion and purpose. Where the front is abrupt and disciplined, the rear becomes more sculptural, flowing around the body before ending sharply when you least expect it. Valen makes as much impact leaving as it does arriving.
FRONT
Valen leaves convention behind with a series of sharp and unbroken design lines. Beneath the plunging bonnet line are the headlights developed exclusively for Valen. Hidden until illuminated. They transform the front design character and define the menacing Aston Martin grille. The bonnet features a single top vent with a large expanse of perforated venting at the trailing edge.
SIDE
In profile, Valen is an unmistakable silhouette, sitting lower to the road, with side strakes sharpened, elongated and integrated into functional vents that extract air from the wheel arches, channelling air along the side profile. A stepped sill cinches the waistline, amplifying the muscular volume of each fender. At its trailing edge, saw-tooth vortex generators draw high-speed airflow from beneath the car to reduce lift and generate downforce.
WHEELS
21-inch Magnesium wheels are fitted as standard, available in Satin Black, Satin Titanium or Smoked Chrome. Lighter than forged aluminium, they reduce unsprung mass by 6.0kg. Sharper on turn-in, quicker to respond when braking, with greater agility when changing direction.
TYRES
Valen’s wheels are wrapped in bespoke Pirelli P Zero R tyres featuring Cyber™ Tyre technology, feeding real-time tyre data directly into the car's dynamic systems. Developed specifically for Aston Martin, they provide information based on contact with the road surface, such as tread temperature rather than air temperature inside the tyre. This more exact data integrates with the ESP system providing improved stopping distances, better traction and optimised brake balance.
LIGHTING
Valen introduces an entirely new lighting signature. Precisely engineered, the bespoke headlamps remain hidden until illuminated, creating a design that changes character instantly when activated. At the rear, a new full-width light bar defines the night silhouette. Designed not simply for visibility, but clear recognition, day or night.
Interior
Step inside and find the epicentre of minimalist design for maximum driving connection. New Sport Plus seats, a Bowers & Wilkins 15-speaker, 1,170-watt surround sound system, a completely redesigned centre console with in-car technology focused on the driving experience.
