The new electric platform has a built-in battery and low centre of gravity. Combined with the 160kW electric motor, Scenic E-Tech electric drives smoothly and efficiently. Scenic E-Tech electric’s modular AmpR medium platform and its innovative configurations offers better weight distribution and a very low centre of gravity. This allows for an increase in weight and ensures dynamic and responsive driving.

real-time navigation
With an overall surface area of 774 cm², the new generation openR interface offers evermore accurate navigation. The electric route planner takes into account driver preferences and suggests appropriate routes according to the selected types of charging by finding the most optimal charging points. It automatically updates its data according to the actual consumption; if an obstacle is detected (traffic, roadworks, etc.), the journey is recalculated.
voice control
openR link can be voice controlled with Google Assistant1 voice recognition. “Hey Google, show me charging points nearby”. Plan your journeys, set the temperature, change the driving mode ‑ the voice assistant is there to listen. Keep your eyes on the road and easily start playing music, make calls, ask for information and activate some of the vehicle’s features.

The boot adapts to the needs of families and the different ways of using the vehicle. Scenic E‑Tech electric offers a loading capacity of 545 litres, which can be increased to 1,670 litres when the rear bench seat is folded down.
ingenious® rear armrest
The innovative folding ingenious® rear armrest has 2 USB‑C ports and storage spaces designed for mobile phones, tablet computers and your other digital devices. Its two removable and adjustable arms allow passengers to comfortably watch their favourite content and holds cups or water bottles. Lastly, the armrest is fitted with a flap to let long objects such as skis pass through from the boot to the rear passenger compartment.

38 litres of storage space is split between the front and rear of Scenic E‑Tech electric. In addition to the glove box and door bins, the central armrest hosts a big open space with two cup holders, one of which is adjustable. Under the armrest, other spaces are provided for your belongings and a large space under the central screen lets you charge your smartphone by induction.
one-pedal function
This technology offers a number of advantages, including smoother, less demanding driving, especially in urban environments. It also contributes to improved driving range through energy recovery. Accelerate and decelerate your vehicle with a single pedal. When released, Scenic E‑Tech electric gradually slows down to a complete stop, optimising regenerative braking. To regain speed, simply press the accelerator pedal again.

With its electric motor producing up to 160 kW of power, the equivalent of 220 hp, Scenic E‑Tech electric delivers high‑performance and responsive driving on every journey. The heat pump, which is available as standard, is combined with a system for recovering energy from the motor and the battery, to enhance the driving range of Scenic E‑Tech electric and the thermal comfort of its passengers, regardless of the conditions.

Intuitive tech offers confidence with a multi‑view camera, helping you manoeuvre into the perfect parking position. Front, rear and side parking cameras offer a clear view of the world around you so you can park with confidence.
active emergency braking#
The camera and radar sensor provide a warning and intervene to avoid any collision with a pedestrian, cyclist or vehicle. If your reaction is too slow to avoid the impact, the system will activate the vehicle’s brakes#.
adaptive cruise control#
Adapts your speed, taking into account your choice and the traffic in order to slow down or accelerate and maintain safe distances with other vehicles#.
