The high-voltage battery features advanced thermal management, actively maintaining an optimal temperature for consistent performance. In select driving modes, the system cools the battery to preserve efficiency and ensure immediate responsiveness – even under sustained demand.

The dominant Singleframe grille with a three-dimensional honeycomb structure and refreshed RS badging leads the design, while flared wheel arches and a central rear diffuser reflector pay homage to Audi motorsport heritage.

Darkened Matrix LED headlights with customisable light signatures, paired with next-generation rear OLED lights – both featuring an RS-exclusive chequered flag design – create a distinctive Audi Sport identity.

Statement in motion

Forged 21-inch Audi Sport twin-spoke alloy wheels, available in matt platinum grey, metallic black (shown), matt neodymium gold or black metallic with graphic print⁵, create a powerful statement. Red RS brake callipers reinforce the performance intent.

A meticulously crafted, driver-oriented interior defines the RS 5 Avant. RS sport front seats with honeycomb quilting and illuminated RS logos are complemented by RS-specific displays and carbon twill micro-structure inlays. Charged with intent

Blending twin‑turbo V6 power with electric performance, the RS 5 Avant delivers up to 470 kW and 825 Nm of torque. Acceleration is both immediate and assured – reaching 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds² – while the ability to travel up to 76 km³ on pure electric power adds a compelling new dimension to the RS experience.

Electromechanical torque vectoring works beyond acceleration, actively distributing power across the rear axle through braking, turn‑in and exit. The effect is immediate – sharper agility, improved balance and unwavering traction that keeps the RS 5 Avant composed and responsive in every situation.

Poise in motion

Twin‑valve shock absorbers are at the core of the RS sport suspension, precisely managing pitch and roll to enhance stability and control. The result is a finely balanced drive – combining composed comfort with the sharp, dynamic character expected of an RS model.

The right drive

Through the MMI, effortlessly switch between fully electric and hybrid driving. Select ‘EV’ mode for all‑electric refinement or ‘Hybrid’ mode for a seamless blend of electric and combustion power. With the ability to maintain and adjust battery charge, the system ensures performance is always delivered on your terms.

Ready when you are

The steering wheel‑mounted boost button unleashes up to 10 seconds of peak power and torque from the RS 5. Instantly optimising gear selection and opening the exhaust valves, it delivers sharper acceleration and a more immediate, emotionally charged driving experience.
