Featuring a recalibrated 8-speed automatic gearbox with rapid 120-millisecond shifts, ensuring immediate response. DB12 S features the next generation of corner braking control, which is integrated within the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) system. Leveraging a 6-dimensional accelerometer and advanced brake slip control, the system predicts and manages load transfer through every corner. Giving a stronger turn-in and greater mid-corner agility to deliver the dynamic feel of a shorter wheelbase with the added ride refinement and stability of a grand tourer. AN AUTHORITY ON AGILITY
The Electronic Differential (E-Diff) works in harmony with the Electronic Slip Control (ESC) system to maximise traction and further enhance the car’s agility. DB12 S is specifically tuned for a sharper response, allowing earlier application of power when exiting corners. Combined with the reduction in unsprung mass from the Carbon Ceramic Brakes, it provides more exact feedback and a racing feel. A new, muscular, exhaust note enhances the presence of DB12 S. Driven by an all-new stainless-steel quad tailpipe system with active valve control. Tuned to enhance bass frequencies, it brings a greater depth and power to the Aston Martin V8 signature sound. For those seeking the pinnacle of visceral engagement, there is an optional titanium system. This reduces mass by 11.7kg and elevates sound output by a further 1.5 dB. Delivering both weight savings and an even more sonorous howl.

DB12 S offers sharper driving characteristics without compromising on comfort. A thicker rear anti-roll bar increases stiffness by 7%, reducing body roll and improving agility. Calibration changes to the DTX dampers have broadened out their range of capabilities, not only sharpening responses, but also adding ride refinement. Bespoke camber, toe and caster settings for DB12 S further aid stability and response, in addition to the standard fitting of Carbon Ceramic Brakes, which removes an impressive 27kg in unsprung mass. Software revisions to the steering deliver more weight and feel, maximising the sense of connection to the road. Meanwhile, changes to the Electronic Differential (E-Diff) calibration allows faster acceleration out of corners, and further improves agility, blending sports car precision and front-end bite with the refinement and agility of a grand tourer.

AERODYNAMICS WITH INTENT
Exclusive to DB12 S, a fixed carbon spoiler blade enhances the aerodynamic profile at the rear with a purposeful, assertive lip. Below this, a rear diffuser reduces lift to further support high-speed stability while visually extending the bodywork. Making the car appear lower to the ground, while elevating its presence. Optional painted fog-light housings add further brooding power. Making the DB12 S as commanding from behind as it appears from the front.
A STACKED COMPOSITION
The rear bumper of DB12 S is reshaped with greater muscularity, amplifying its stance. Integrating seamlessly with the new quad exhaust system, creating a more intense and purposeful rear profile. The quad outlets stacked in pairs with an inboard offset, are a defining mark of the S character. Sculpted surrounds and oval tips retain the refinement expected of the DB lineage.

CARBON COOLING
The introduction of optional carbon louvres to the centrally mounted bonnet vents does more than simply add an assertive edge to the car's looks, enhancing cooling by extracting heat directly from the engine bay. Managing airflow around the vehicle rather than letting turbulence disturb the flow over the top of the DB12 S. Visually stunning, they signal increased performance and are available in Gloss Black or 2x2 Twill Carbon Fibre.
